During my childhood, I heard predictions that robots would rule the world by the year 2000, and also that the world would come to an end. Neither did robots take over the world, nor did the world end. Robotics is, in fact, a key tool in cutting-edge technology—including the humanoid robots currently under development—yet it remains under human control. Similarly, Artificial Intelligence (or simply AI) is currently being developed under human supervision. Good and evil make up the human soul. The way tools are used is secondary to human will. I do not believe there is any greater risk than the human mind itself.

In recent years, we have witnessed the evolution of democratic policies that emphasize freedoms. These freedoms have become institutionalized, assuming powers once deemed despotic and oppressive. With the advent of democracies, such freedoms—in order to maintain power—adopted the very roles of those they had previously opposed. Once-discriminated minorities, upon becoming majorities, began to justify their actions through the same attitudes held by their former adversaries. Just as discriminatory as their counterparts, they began to exclude anything perceived as opposition. Naturally, reactions were bound to arise and grow amidst the chaos of manipulated freedoms. From these struggles emerged winners and losers; from oppression, loyalties and betrayals; from equality, the right to dominate the weak and vulnerable; from truth, narratives rooted in illusion; and from chaos, despotism and intolerance. There came a day when truths turned into lies, and lies into truths. Opposing sides reacted to one another, becoming alike in their aim to dominate, control, and manipulate the masses. These sides are no different; they fight for the common good—or so the rhetoric goes. On which side does the planet stand? On the side of the Sun, or on the side of the Moon?

Art, for me, is sacred. A lifelong commitment. Total dedication. I've experimented with many techniques, expressions, languages, and materials. It all comes down to the elements that compose it: the point, the line, the color, and the elementary forms. One work paves the way for another. It develops naturally.

I have been creating these works for twenty years. I have studied them and experimented with various techniques: pencil, pen, brush, engraving, street art. They demand total concentration, a lot of time, exceptional skill, and immense dedication. I need to be physically and mentally healthy. My work is based on philosophy. I have theoretical and conceptual arguments. This work puts me in a state of meditation. It develops like a mandala.
